I went back to use the app again in 2020. Back then, it was a one time purchase of $19… no renewals. I started using Brainscape when the app was fairly new… (some years ago… im thinking around 2015-16). When I say take your money and run, I really mean it. Mind you, their app is doing pretty bad as well, plenty of unhappy customers there as well. All she did was apologize and wasn't able to say anything reassuring. I did try that today however it did feel like I had to put a lot more effort into concentrating. That is what I did, in the end I ran out of browsers to try and even when I did clear each and everyone of the cache, it was the same story, she then told me to reduce my page size from 100% (which is the ideal reading font and everything was so much more comfortable) to about 60%/70%. I contacted their customer service Joysa C, told me to clear my browser cache and try switching browsers. Where I had left space between paragraphs and listed bullet points everything is now a huge block of text. Before their stupid update, my cards were great visually into a rectangular shape but now it is all squashed into a square. As I was studying one day the layout of the cards got completely damaged my content went pear shaped and I am currently continuing to waste my time re-organising my content. One star is too much! I have recently become a paying customer to this made up fake platform. Scams, they take your money and do the worst possible updates of their site.
